347 Stainless Steel Plate is a niobium stabilized austenitic stainless steel plate. SS 347 Plate has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion when exposed to the chromium carbide precipitation temperature range of 800 – 1500 degree F (427 – 816 degree ). Alloy 347 has good oxidation resistance and creep strength up to 1500 degree F (816 degree ). The corrosion resistance of annealed 347 alloy is stronger than that of 321 alloy in the annealed condition in strongly oxidizing environments.

SUS 347 Stainless Steel Properties Acid Corrosion Resistance

ASTM A240 UNS S34700 Plate can be used in most dilute organic acids at moderate temperatures and pure phosphoric acid at lower temperatures and up to 10% dilute solutions at elevated temperatures. WNR 1.4550 Stainless Steel Plate resists polysulfuric acid stress corrosion cracking in hydrocarbon service.
